It's been a great Thanksgiving-long weekend thus far, so here's a little video I made with a picture sequence shot while I walked towards the white beach in Sanibel...
Enjoy!

Zoom-Zoom indeed ! I went to check out the new rides and concepts to the Miami Beach Convention Center, with my friend Gustavo Viñas. I must say a bit on the sad side, since the expo was rather limited, and what used to be a thriving show of concepts, new models and exotics, turned out to be a limited exhibit of some of the above, with the most effort coming from the Korean, Japanese and American brands. There were also very few motorsports examples, save for Porsche, Mazda, Ford and very few others, while the tricked-out or "Tuning" cars could be counted on one hand's fingers. Nonetheless, here are the pictures! hit the Galleries for the full set in higher res. Even though enduring a tough cold that kept knocking me down with headaches and a very congested nose, I was still able to enjoy the company of Miami and Santiago colleagues while visiting some of the most important Malls and dealer stores in the Chilean capital, like Falabella, Paris, Ripley and a couple Sony stores. These are some of the views that caught my eye in terms of architecture, the city and, obviously, my friends. Head to Galleries to see all images in higher resolution. Tonight was a night to enjoy a few good laughs, new friends and a ride on my '82 Toyota Starlet. But most importantly, it was a night to share our passion for all things automotive (high performance, vintage and custom Japanese import cars that is) It was great to get a few good leads and recommendations about places and specialists to work on my KP61. All of the higher-res pictures in the Galleries. |
